Entrance Fees for Lake Mburo National Park

Entrance Fees for Lake Mburo National Park are the different charges that are levied on travelers who wish to access the park for its activities. We all known that to enter any recognised place you first pay for the entrance fees.  Lake Mburo national park is Uganda’s smallest park and located few kilometers to Kampala the main city covering a distance of 240kilometers and in driving hours is 3 to 4 hours only using Masaka road passes via Mbarara town to Kiruhura district in south-western Uganda. The park sounds as a wildlife safari destination, harboring with over 68 mammals’ species and over350 bird species rewarding it to be a touristic safari destination on Uganda safari tours.

To note, entrance fees for Lake Mburo national park are splinted into different categories of entrance fees that include; entrance for individual persons, vehicle fees, air crafts fees, and these entry fees are charged depending on the status of the visitors. Perhaps, entrance fees are paid individually from the activity charges

Individual Entrance fees for Lake Mburo National park

Foreign non-resident is entitled to pay USD40 for adults and children USD 20 to in order to access Lake Mburo national park.

Foreign residents of Uganda ‘’adults’’ are expected to pay USD 30 per person and children below 15 years old pay USD10 per child per day to access Lake Mburo national park.

The East African citizens, adults are entitled to pay UGX20,000 and children are met to pay UGX 5,000 per child per day as entry fees to enters Lake Mburo National park.

The tertiary institutions /Universities are expected to pay UGX 5,000 as entry fees to Lake Mburo national park.

Uganda wildlife clubs are expected to pay UGX 2,000 per person per day in order to enter the park.

Annual park entrance based on the status of FR EAC US % UGX individual.

The annual park entry fees are paid by only two statuses those who East African citizens and foreign residents of Uganda where they choose to pay for the whole year.

The foreign resident of Uganda as an individual is supposed to pay USD 350 and an individual of East Africa is expected to pay UGX15000 in order to enter the park.

A couple of foreign residents of Uganda are expected to pay USD500 and East African citizenship is met to pay UGX200,000 to enter the park as annual basis.

The family of foreign residents of a maximum of 4 children are supposed to pay USD700 and family of East African citizenship with a maximum of 4 children are expected to pay 300,000 on an annual basis at lake Mburo national park.

The corporate groups of a foreign residents of Uganda are entitled to pay USD1,500 for annual entrance fees for lake Mburo national park.

The Corporate groups of the East African community pay an annual charge of UGX2.5millions as entrance fees.

The safari guides are supposed to pay UGX 100,000 annually.

The taxi driver is entitled pay UGX 100,000 as annual basis to enter lake Mburo national park.

The tour company driver they enter the park at a free charge.

Park entrance fees for vehicle

The vehicle entry charges depend on the kind of car you are using basing on vehicle type, size of the car and the duration of the time taken in the park because charges differ on time and types of the car.

Motor-cycles entrance charges

The Motor-cycle for foreign nonresident travelers to Lake Mburo national park pay USD30 to enter into the park.

Foreign resident of Uganda is entitled to pay USD5 to enter lake Mburo national park with the motor-cycle.

The East African citizen are expected to pay UGX10,000 per day in lake Mburo national park.

Saloon car entrance fees

The saloon cars for foreign nonresident travelers to Lake Mburo national park are entitled to pay USD40 per day.

The Foreign residents of Uganda are expected to pay USD10 and UGX20,000 for the East Africa community respectively.

Minibusses entrance fees.

Foreign nonresident travelled in minibuses to enter Lake Mburo national park are entitled to pay USD50 and foreign resident of Uganda is expected to pay USD 15 to enter the park.

The East African citizen are expected to pay UGX30,000 for vehicle parking fees.

Pickups and 4 wheel drives

Foreign residents of Uganda are entitled to pay USD15 parking entry fees to lake Mburo national park.

Foreign nonresident is supposed pay USD50 for parking fee at lake Mburo national park.

East African community are charged UGX30,000 as parking entry fees at Lake Mburo national park. Travelers should notice that all charges are based on 24hours per day.

Buses and lorries entry fees for parking

Foreign residents of Uganda travelled with buses or lorry are expected to pay USD75 as parking fees at lake Mburo national park.

Foreign nonresidents are charged USD150 as parking fee at lake Mburo national park.

 East African members are charged UGX150,000 for parking fees at lake Mburo national park.

School buses entry fees for parking

Foreign resident of Uganda is charged USD 25 as park entry in lake Mburo national park.

East African citizens are charged UGX50,000 to access lake Mburo national park.

Delivery vehicle per entry fees

Foreign resident of Uganda is entitled to pay USD and the East African citizen is USD10 required to pay UGX20,000 in order to access the park.

Aircraft landing fees

Pilots who do en-route do not pay entry fees but if they spend less than 2 hours, they will have to pay entrance fees to the park and the landing fees in excluded to be paid by the passengers.

Flight of up to 3 seater

Foreign non-resident is entitled to pay USD20 for the entry fee at lake Mburo national park.

Foreign resident of Uganda is charged USD20 as a landing fees in the park.

Ugandans are charged UGX40,000 for landing fee at lake Mburo national park.

Flight 4 to 6 seater

Foreign non-resident pays a fee of USD30 for landing fees per day.

Foreign residents of Uganda are entitled to pay USD30 for aircraft entry Landin in the park.

East African citizens are expected to pay UGX60,000 for entry landing fees to lake Mburo national park.

Flight for 7 -14 seater

Foreign resident of Uganda is charged USD40 for landing fees in the park.

A foreign nonresident is expected to pay a fee of USD40 for aircraft landing fees.

East African members are charged to pay UGX80,000 for landing per day.

Flight of 14 to 21 seater

Foreign nonresidents are charged USD50 per day

Foreign residents of Uganda are supposed pay USD50 per day.

East African members are entitled to pay a charge of UGX100,000 per day as a landing fee to the park.

21seater and above

Foreign resident of Uganda is met to pay USD60 and foreign nonresident is charged USD60 respectively.

East African Community are expected to pay UGX120,000 per day.

Helicopter

The foreign resident of Uganda is entitled to pay USD125 for landing fee per day at lake Mburo national park.

Foreign nonresident is supposed to pay 100USD as a landing fee.

Ugandan nationals are expected to pay UGX250,000 per day.

The parking fee per day is UGX10,000 but note that, the landing fees are excluded from entry fees which must be paid by the passengers.

NOTE; For travelers to be able to access the park entry must be holding his or her personnel documents which include;

Foreign non-residents are required to present in their passport in order to be able to access the park.

Foreign residents must submit in their working permits valid for at least a minimum of one year.

The East African community have to present in their national identification cards to two the gates of Lake Mburo in order to access the park.

Please note that, a day’s entrance ticket is valid for twenty-four hours from the time of entrance.

The extra time you spend in the park for more than 24hours will be charged as an extra day.

Entrance fees are quoted in United States Dollar.

Entrance fees are paid separately from the park’s activities.
