Murchison Falls National Park entrance fees; Murchison Falls Nationals Park a resounding park worldwide because of the famous Murchison Falls known as world’s powerful waterfall and also renown as a home to biodiversity of wildlife species with big four out of big fives, such as Elephants, Lion, Buffalos, Leopard and other species include; waterbucks, Jackson hartebeest, warthogs, Oribis, among others as well as a home to over 450 bird species.
The park is located in northwestern region of Uganda, approximately 4 to5 hours’ drive from Kampala to main destinations. Another option, you can fly by domestic flight from Entebbe International Flight or Kajjansi Airstrip.

Individual Entry Fees
Individual park entrance fee is paid per person per day with 24 hours for you to be able to access Murchison Falls national park;
Adults
Foreign nonresident adult pays USD45 per person, USD 40 per person for foreign resident and 20 ,000UGX per person for East African citizens
Children Foreign nonresident children pay25USD per person, USD15 Per person for foreign residents and 20,000 UGX per person for East African Citizens.
Ugandan pupils or students in a group pay 3,000 UGX per person
Tertiary institutions –Universities pay 5,000 UGX per person
Uganda Wildlife Clubs pay UGX2,000 per person.
Annual Park Entrance Passes
Tourists who are willing to visit the park many times throughout the year, you can choose to pay annual entrance fees for Murchison Falls National Park in 2022 -24. However, the annual park entrance passes the applicable is to only East African citizens and foreign residents with a work permits valid for one years.

Foreign resident individual pays USD350 per person and East African citizen individuals pay UGX350,000 as annual entrance to Murchison Falls national park
Couple
Couple of foreign resident pay USD600 and East African member pays USD500,00
Foreign resident with family maximum 4 children pay USD800and East Africa Citizens pay UGX600,000 to enter the park as annual park fees.
Annual Corporate pass ‘’10 people
The annual corporate of 10 people –foreign residents entitled to pay USD1,500 and East African members pays UGX 2,5000, OOO as annual park entrance fees.
Safari Guide
The East African safari guide are the only people to pay UGX 200,000for the annual park entrance to enter Murchison Falls national park.
Taxi Driver
Taxi driver pays 150,000 for annual park entrance.
Tour company driver
The tour company driver enters the park at free costs.
Annul park entrance fees applies in many things; Meaning foreign resident are requested to present in a work permit valid for one year to quality of annual pass.
Note, Vehicle entrance are paid separately.
Safari guide; Is an individual who guide visitors through nature whether by canoe, vehicle, boat, horseback or on foot while explains some of the interesting secret hidden within the natural environment.
Tour Company Driver; Is an individual from the registered Uganda Safari tour company who drives visitors to the park.

Pick-ups
Foreign resident pays USD50 and UGX30,000 for East African member with pick-ups to enter the park.
Tour Company vehicle and 4 Wheel drive
Foreign residents pay USD150 and East African members pays UGX30 ,000 to enter the park.
Over Landers
Foreign residents pay USD150 and East African members pays UGX100,000 to park into the park.
Buses and Lorries
Foreign residents pay USD200 and East African members pays UGX200,000 to enter the park.
Construction equipment
Foreign residents pay USD350 and East African members pays UGX 500,000 to enter the park.
School buses
East African members pays UGX 50,000 to access the park.
Delivery vehicle entry
East African members pays UGX20,000 in order the park
Boats up to 15 seater
Foreign residents with boat up to 15 seater pay USD100 and East African members pays UGX250,000.
Launches over 15 seaters
Foreign nonresidents & resident pays USD200 and East African members pays UGX350,000.
Aircrafts Landing Fees ‘’Per landing’’
At Murchison Falls National Park, Aircraft landing fees are irrespective of the resident status and registration, landing fees to be paid by the visitors as seen below;
Landing fees also excludes entry fees payable by the passengers.
Pilots Enroute do not entry fees but if they spend less than 2 hours in the park.

15-20 seater
Foreign resident is charged USD50 and UGX100,000 East African members per landing in the park.
21 seats and above
Foreign resident is charged USD60 and UG120,000 East African members per landing in Murchison Falls National Park.
Helicopter
Foreign resident is charged USD125 and UGX250,000 East Africa member per landing in the park.
