Nkuringo Gorilla Camp lies on the Nteko ridge at 2,161meter ASL and provides mid-range serves to the Uganda gorilla safari undertakers. However, the camp overlooks the Kashasha River Valley and the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a perfect safari destination for gorilla trekking mountain gorillas in the Nkuringo Gorilla region along with the gorilla families of Rushaga one of the four gorilla families in the park that is; Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga and Nkuringo.

Gorilla Trekking Experience
Gorilla trekking is quite amazing safari experience, which starts early in the morning with a short briefing about dos and don’ts of gorillas. After briefing to you will be grouped in a group eight people by the park ranger guide and accompanies you to the trekking trails in an experience which takes about 30 to 7 hours depending on their location. But always remember to carry useful items like energy giving snacks, rubber hiking shoes, warm clothes, rain jackets, cotton stockings, hat, water proof bag among others. Walking Safaris
The walking safari in Bwindi can be done in two different interesting trails that crisscross each other somewhere inside the jungle. Generally, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is one of the few great destination to see endangered mountain gorillas in the world, located in the southwestern region of Uganda approximately 9 to 10 hours’ drive from Kampala or you can fly using domestic flight Aerolink Uganda from Entebbe International Airport to Kihihi Airstrip within 1:30 hours to land.
