Uganda Park Entry Fees 2022-23 & Requirements : Uganda National Park Entry Fees: Uganda a pearl of Africa- East African Country known for its warm climate and weather, scenic landscape and biodiversity of wildlife species among others. However, Uganda destinations can easily be accessed by air or border crossing from the neighboring countries like Kenya Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo among others. Uganda can be reach by air through Entebbe International Airport ‘’EBB’’ the main landing site for the arrivals. Note, entry fees are sum of money paid in order to permit you into a cinema hall, museum, national park others.

Generally, park entry fee is paid basing on the status of the person categorized of foreign nonresidents, foreign resident and citizens –East African members which are Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo among others.
Please note; Park entry fees are valid for only 24 hours more than that hour you’re required to pay extra money and it is charged exclusive with park activity. The vehicle also charged separately depending on the weight of your vehicle. More so, park entry fees are charged per person per day.
Furthermore, Uganda national park entry fees are set up by the Uganda Wildlife Authority and the fees collected help to support the locals in community through building schools, provide pipe water, set up hospitals and providing security to the national park. The Uganda National Park is categorized into three different fees that is Adult, student and child.
Uganda one of the top boosting destination on safari that ranks with over ‘’10’’ National Parks and 12 Game Reserves;
Uganda National Park includes ;Murchison Falls national Park in northwest Uganda region , Queen Elizabeth National Park in Southwestern region ,Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park in southwestern region of Uganda ,Mgahinga Gorilla national park in Southwestern region ,Kibale Forest National Park in Western region ,Semuliki National Park in Western region ,Kidepo Valley National Park in northeast ,Lake Mburo National Park in Western region, Mount Rwenzori National Park in Western region , Mount Elgon National Park among others.

Reserves include; Kigezi wildlife reserve, Katongo wildlife reserve, East Madi wildlife reserve ,Kyambura wildlife reserve ,Pian upe wildlife reserve ,Toro –Semuliki wildlife reserve ,Matheniko wildlife reserve ,Kigezi wildlife reserve ,Katongo wildlife reserve, Karuma wildlife reserve ,Kabwoya wildlife reserve ,Bugungu wildlife reserve ,Bokora Corridor wildlife reserve ,Ajai wildlife reserve .
Uganda National Park Entry Fees;
Adults
Foreign nonresident is charged USD40, foreign residents USD30 and East African Members is charged 20,000 per person per day ‘’24hours’’ to enter into the park.
Children
A foreign nonresidents child is charged USD20, foreign resident child USD10 and East African child is charged UGX5,000 as park entry fees to Murchison Falls national park.
Queen Elizabeth National Park
Adults
Foreign nonresident is charged USD40, foreign resident USD30 and East African member is charged UGX20,000 as park entry fees to access the park
Children
Foreign nonresident child is charged USD20, foreign resident USD30 and East African member is charged UGX20,000 to enter Queen Elizabeth national park
Kidepo Valley National Park
Adult
Foreign nonresident is charged USD40, foreign resident USD30 and East African member is charged UGX20,000 to access the park’s activities.
Children
Foreign nonresident child is charged USD20, foreign resident USD10 and East African child UGX5,000 to access Kidepo Valley national park.
Adult
Foreign nonresident is charged USD40, foreign resident titled to pay aUSD10 and East African citizens pay UGX20,000 to access the Lake Mburo ‘s activities.

Children
Foreign nonresident child pays USD20, foreign resident child pays USD10 and East African child pays UGX5,000 per person per day as park entry fees.
Kibale National Park
Adult
Foreign nonresident is charged USD40, foreign resident pays USD30 and East African member pays UGX20,000 as park entry fees.
Children
Foreign nonresident child is charged USD20, foreign resident child pays USD10 and East African child pays UGX5,000 as park entry fees to Kibale national park.
Adult
Foreign nonresident pays USD35, foreign resident USD25 and East African members UGX 15,000 entry fees to Semuliki national park.
Children
Foreign nonresident pays USD20, foreign residents child pays USD10 and East African child pays UGX5,000 to enter the park.
Rwenzori Mountains National Park
Adult
Foreign nonresident is charged USD35, foreign resident USD25 and East African members charged UGX15,000 to access the park.
Elgon National Park
Adult
Foreign nonresident is charged USD35, foreign resident UDG25 and East African members is charged UGX15,000 as park entry fees to access Mount Elgon national park.
Children
Foreign nonresident child is charged USD10, foreign resident USD5 and East African child UGX5,000 to access the park
Note ;20% discount on entrance fees is given for a group of more than 20 people on a given day.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park both do not charge entry fees for the park because fees are combined with Gorilla trekking permit fees as explained below;
Gorilla Trekking Experience –one hour given to spend with Mountain Gorillas in their nature inhabits.
Foreign nonresident pays USD700 per person per trek, Foreign residents pay USD600 and East African member pays UGX250,000 per person per trek.
Gorilla Habituation Experience -4 hours given to spend with Mountain Gorillas in their nature inhabits.
Foreign nonresident pays USD1,500 and foreign resident pays USD1,000 and East African members pays UGX750,000 per person per day.

Annual Park Entrance Fees
The annual park entrance fees are paid by only foreign residents and East African members which is applied to all protected areas. Park entrances and vehicle entrance are paid separately.
Individuals
Foreign resident pays USD350 and East African citizens pays UGX150,000
Couple
Foreign resident pays USD500 and East African couple pays UGX200,000 as annual park entrance fees.
Family maximum 4 children
Foreign resident pays USD700 and East African members pays UGX300,000 as a annual park entry fees in each of the national park.
Annual Corporate fees
Foreign resident pays USD1,500 and East African members pays UGX2,500,000 as annual park entry fees.
Safari driver
East African safari guide pays UGX100,000 as annual park entry fees.
Taxi Drivers
East African pay 100,000 UGX as annual park entry fees.
Tour Company Driver
Tour company driver must be an individual from a recognized Ugandan tour company who drives tourists to the national park.
The tour company driver enters the park at free entry.
Aircraft Landing Fees
These are fees which excludes fees payable by passengers and pilots en –route is not required to pay entry fees. If they only spend less than 24 hours in the park thus Uganda Park Entry Fees 2022-23 & Requirements.
Aircraft with seats up to 3 seaters
Foreign nonresident pays USD20, foreign resident pays USD20 and East Africa members pay UGX40,000
4-6 seater
Foreign nonresident pays USD30, foreign resident pays USD30 and East Africa members pay UGX60,000 as a landing fees.
7-14 seater
Foreign nonresident is charged USD40, foreign resident USD40 and East Africa members pays UGX80,000 as a landing site.
15-20 Seater
Foreign nonresident is charged USD50, foreign resident USD50 and East Africa members UGX100,000 as Air craft landing fees.
21 Seats and above
Foreign nonresident pays USD60, foreign resident USD60 and East African UGX120,000 as a landing fees.
Helicopter ‘’per landing ‘’
Foreign nonresident pays 100, foreign resident USD100 and East African members UGX250,000.
Parking fees per day
East African members charged UGX100,000.

Rules and Regulations /Requirements
Requirements needed to present in at each of the Uganda National Park;
All visitors are required to present valid personnel identification documents to confirm resident status. Such as Passport, National identification card and Visa.
Park entry fees and activities are quoted in;
USD –United States Dollar
UGX –Uganda Shillings.
Please not;
Park entry fees is valid for ‘’24’’ hours from time of entrance.
Extra time spent in the park after 24 hours will be titled to pay extra day.
Children are persons aged between 5-15 years.
Person under 5 years are exempt.
Park entry fees are independent of activities fees like gorilla trekking, chimp tacking, Mountain climbing and Bird watching among others.
