Day 1 Kampala city tour
After early morning breakfast our driver will pick you at 7:00 am from your Kampala Serene hotel, give you a short briefing about Kampala city tour and then you will start your city tour encounter drive you to kasubi tombs just few kilometres from the city centre. You will reach to kasubi tombs where you will have great sightseeing of Buganda’s burial site where the four kings were buried from, since it is the royal family of Buganda and it’s only the royal people who are buried in here. You can as well visit the premises of tombs and have interesting narrative history of Buganda as you gain with great view of the traditional structure being accompanied by the traditional experiencer.
You will then proceed to Uganda museum which is the oldest museum in East Africa located on kintante hill along the way to Kampala. You will arrive at Museum to take look of the displayed Uganda’s historical collection sections such as the culture heritage, musical gallery, Architecture where you will be able to sightsee the first chair President Yoweri Museveni seat on when he has just come on power in 1986, the first telephone in Uganda, the first fold car in Uganda, traditional dressing code and huts where the ancient people used to live and many more.
After encountering all these our drive will drive you to acacia mall just 15minute away from museum to have lunch and then proceed to Uganda martyrs Namugongo which is positioned 5 kilometres in east of the Kampala centre from kintante to Namugongo which can take 1:00 hour to reach there. You will depart to Namugongo and see where the 32 heroes were burnt from because of their faith and this is the same place where thousands of people come worldwide to celebrate the faith of these heroes every 3rd June yearly
Later on in the evening after encountering Namugongo shrine, you will drive to Ntinda to visit Ndere culture centre at 6pm where you will be filled with too much laughter because of this exciting traditional dance, songs being performed and as you enjoy Uganda’s traditional dance you will be served with snacks and wine on your table as you watch the traditional blissful creative of Uganda. After the traditional encounter, drive back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
