Our trip will start with visiting the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary a renowned home for wild Rhinos located in Nakasongola district along Gulu high way the same route that leads travelers to Murchison falls national park which will be our second visited safari ,famously knowns for its powerful waterfall in the world and being a home to range of wild animals ,followed by Kibale national park known as Uganda’s primate capital with over 5000 individuals ,Queen Elizabeth national park which sounds as the most visited Uganda safari destination and this is because of the rare tree climbing lions and other range of wild animals ,Bwindi impenetrable national park is located in south western region of Uganda ,is known worldwide as a home for the remaining mountain gorillas with over 500 individuals which are said to have 98% human genes ,Lake Bunyonyi a home of little birds ,source of the Nile famously known as the longest River in the world ,this natural wonder starts right here in Jinja town one of the most developed town in Uganda in the North eastern region of the country ,our last safari destination will be visiting Kampala city tour , a city of seven hills visit Uganda’s Museum ,Bahai temple and Namugongo Martyr’s Shine thus ending up with a great pleasure in what makes Uganda to be called the Pearl of Africa.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Rhino Tracking: Depending on the location, our driver or guide will pick you up but will first take you through a short briefing about the 12 days best of Uganda Safari Tour. Then you will set off to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking which is a 2 hour done activity. After Rhino tracking have lunch at Amuka safari lodge and then in the afternoon proceed to Murchison falls national park. You will arrive at the park through ferry crossing and be welcomed with baboons ,check in to the lodge , dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning game drive
Morning game drive: Wake up early have break, prepare for morning game drive and drive to the park at the end of Albert Nile. On your game drive, you will be able to sight see several animals such as lions, Elephants, leopards, giraffes, kobs, waterbucks, among others, watch water birds along Albert Nile. Back to the lodge for lunch and do swimming at the lodge.
Boat Cruise: Later, go for boat cruise to the bottom of the falls, while sailing on Victoria Nile you will get amazed of observing the might River Nile water squeezes to every narrow gorge referred to as the most powerful falls worldwide. You can set off the boat and hike on the top of the falls and have awesome view of the falls. Enjoy the photoshoot walk around and after meet your driver there, drives you back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay in the same lodge you slept in at Murchison.
Day 3: Transfer from Murchison to Kibale Forest National Park
Game drive: After morning game drive, you will check out of the lodge drive to Kibale Forest National Park via Fort portal town. Have lunch en route in fort portal and then after proceed to Kibale forest national park. Arrive at the park and check in to the lodge.
Forest Walk: Later go for a guided forest walk where you will be able to encounter variety of birds like Weavers, papyrus Gonolek, Kingfishers, Waxbills, Cuckoos, Hornbills, Flycatchers and many more, green vegetation. Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Kibale National Park to Queen Elizabeth national park
Chimpanzee Tracking: After morning breakfast, proceed for Chimpanzee tracking with packed lunch but they will first brief you about the rules of chimpanzees. Then after meet up with ranger to led you to forest walking trail heads in kibale forest as you will be tracking you will have another chance of seeing other primates, birds, trees, vegetation. Chimpanzee tracking takes 30 to 7 hours depending on the location of the chimpanzees. But once chimpanzees are located trackers are given one hour to observe them while playing, enjoy watching their life style as well as photo shooting. After tracking back to the lodge for lunch, rest.
Later, in the afternoon, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park, arrive at the park and check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Morning game drive
Game drive: Wake up have breakfast and prepare for a morning game drive in the park, drive to Kasenyi plains for a game drive viewing and this is the best time to see big cats when they are out for hunting their prey. On your game drive, you can be able to view lions, leopards, hippos, antelopes, buffalos, kob mentioned few. Back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
Boat cruise: Later on, in the afternoon proceed for boat cruise along Kazinga channel where you will be able to see water species such as high concentration of hippos, crocodile, birds among others. Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight to the same lodge you slept in at Queen Elizabeth national park
Day 6: Bush Breakfast and evening visit the community projects
Bush breakfast: Wake up our drive ,drives you to park’s wilderness have naturalizing bush breakfast accompanied by armed guide ,As you’re busy enjoying your coffee ,you will be rewarded with great views of wildlife species with eye pointed at species include waterbucks ,warthogs ,Uganda Kobs ,elephants ,buffalos as well as having thrilled sightseeing of birds and lovable nature, you will drive around ishasha sector and have a chance of sightseeing tree climbing lions while hanging up on the fig trees .After drive back to the lodge for lunch and relax.
Visit the community project: After relaxing, you will be accompanied by the guide to Ishasha community projects learn more about African work project. Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Ishasha to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
Game drive: After breakfast check out of the lodge, transfer from Ishasha sector for morning game drive and be able to experience the rare tree-climbing lions plus other species and then head to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park. Arrive to the park and check in to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking and Visiting the Batwa trail
Gorilla Trekking: You will have to wake up early in the morning, have breakfast with packed lunch and prepare for the fascinating gorilla trekking activities. Your drive will pick you up from the lodge and drives you to park headquarter for briefing. After meet the guide who will lead you to forest trailhead in Buhoma sector to trek in one of gorilla family in Bwindi impenetrable forest. This is an activity which last 30 to 8 hours while trekking in their natural habitat, trekking depends on the location of gorillas and once gorillas are found trekkers are given one hour to watch their lifestyle and behaviors in the forest, take photos for your future remembrance.
After trekking go back to the park headquarters and be rewarded with a certificate of participating into these great apes of the world. Drive back to the lodge and have restful afternoon.
Visit the Batwa people ‘’option’’: Later on in the evening, you can go visit the Batwa trails and meet the Batwa people who used to survive with mountain gorillas in the forest before being gazette into a national park. On your visit, you will be able learn more about their amazing life style, traditional dance, story, learn how to prepare their local dishes and many more amazing things about this people. Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9: Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi
Birding safari: After breakfast check out of the lodge, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi named as Switzerland of Africa, one of best place for birding on Uganda safaris. Arrive here and have an extra-ordinary wildlife and birding safaris lunch at the lodge.
Boat cruise: Later in the afternoon have a boat cruise on the lake and get rewarded with great view of 29 island and water bird species around the island. This is the best place to go and relax after encountering in Bwindi gorilla trekking experience.

Day 10: Drive from Lake bunyonyi to Kampala
Visit cultural center: Wake up have breakfast and check out of the lodge, transfer from Lake bunyonyi to Kampala via Igongo cultural center to have an encounter with the traditional Ankole culture. Thereafter, proceed and have a stopover at the equator in Kayabwe take photos and also have lunch from here. Continue with the journey to Kampala and check in at the hotel.

Day 11 Kampala to Jinja
Wake up have breakfast on day 11 of 12 Days Best of Uganda Safari Tour from your hotel, our drive will drive you to the source of the Nile in Jinja district, has you head to the falls you will have a stopover at Sezibwa Falls in Mukono district, have great experience of the falls. Proceed to Jinja have lunch at Rumor Restaurant.
Water rafting: In the afternoon have an experiential half day white water rafting or Kayaking or wild Nile jet boat cruise activity. Drive back in the evening to your first choice of hotel in Kampala.
Day 12: Kampala City Tour
Visit Uganda Museum: After breakfast start the city circuit by visiting the Uganda Museum and get experience of different sections of traditional history such as music galley, Ethno history, Ethnography, Science and industry section among others.
Visit Bahai temple & Namugongo Shrine: After here proceed to Bahai temple known as mother temple of Africa and the Namugongo Martyrs’ Shrine its where the 45 pillars were killed from by Kabaka Mwanga and millions of people do come to celebrate this annual day every 3rd June.
Visit Ndere cultural center: Have lunch at Ndere cultural center where you will summarize the entire interesting Uganda cultural performance by Ndere troupe’s performance. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Or you can drive direct to Entebbe International Airport to catch up with your flight.
