3 Days Lake Mburo Wildlife Safari
3 Days Lake Mburo Wildlife Safari is a short safari tour package that takes you through Uganda’s closest national park to its city. Lake Mburo national park is one of Uganda’s smallest park and closest to the city, approximately 3 to 4 driving hours to access the main safari destination. The park is a home of diversity of wild animals such as impala, zebras, elephants, buffalos, topis, wild dogs and paradise for bird’s life among others.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park –evening game drive
Depending on traveler’s location in Kampala or Entebbe, you will meet with your safari guide and set off to Lake Mburo national park early in the morning at 8am. Drive to lake Mburo national park where you will be given a chance to have a stopover at the equator in Kayabwe and later continue the Journey via Masaka driving to the park. Arrive at the park, check in and have lunch at the lodge.
Evening game drive: After lunch, relax at the lodge as you get ready for an evening game drive. While on game drive expect to see the park’s treasures such as eland, zebras, topis, giraffes, buffaloes, otter, water bucks and different unique bird species. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
Morning game drive: Wake up, have a coffee breakfast with snacks and meet up with your driver or guide for your morning game drive in the park. During your game drive expect to view a range of mammals grazing in savannah grassland and such animals to be spotted include buffalos, eland, topis, zebra’s impala, have a chance to see nocturnal animals while going back to their hide outs, bird species and many more to be encountered on your safari. After game drive you will drive back to the lodge rest and lunch.
Boat cruise :Later ,in the afternoon ,you will drive to lake Mburo for an afternoon boat cruise which begins at exactly 2pm.Along your boat cruise on lake Mburo, you will get to cruise near water animals such as hippos ,crocodiles and you will be able to sight see other species of animals along the water banks like otters ,antelopes ,water bucks ,topis ,zebras ,water birds like blue headed weaver ,heron ,pelicans ,fish eagles ,king fishers ,shoe bill stork among others .After ,you will drive back to the lodge do refreshment and have dinner .Your overnight stay in the same lodge which was first opinion.
Day 3: Morning nature walk and transfer back to Kampala
Morning nature walk :Wake up early ,have breakfast and go for morning guided nature walk with an armed ranger within the park’s promises and encounter the hidden treasures of the park .As your busy wondering around the park’s nature ,you will have more experience of viewing different vegetation types and mammals like buffaloes ,eland ,bird species like white winged warbler ,African fish eagle ,grey crown crane ,brown chest lapwing ,black-bellied bustard ,emerald spotted wood and many more to see here on your visit.
After you return to the lodge for lunch and check out, depart to Kampala to be dropped to your hotel or Entebbe to catch up with your flight.
