4 Days Mount Elgon Adventure
4 Days Mount Elgon Adventure is a short safari tour package that takes you to one of Uganda’s mountains known as Mountain Elgon for you to be able to enjoy the hike along with it, enjoys the splendid view from Sipi waterfalls, visit the caves and among others. Mount Elgon is located in Eastern Uganda on the Ugandan and Kenyan border. Above all, it covers the largest surface areas of all the extinct volcanoes in the entire world. And it is gifted with the most magnificent waterfalls, caves, cliffs and gorges in the country. This trip begins and ends in Kampala or Entebbe International Airport.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Depart to Mount Elgon
Depart to Mount Elgon: You will be picked from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe by our driver or guide be briefed about the 4 days Uganda Mount Elgon tour. After a briefing, head to Mount Elgon with a stopover for lunch in Mbale town. Upon arrival you will engage in walking safari to and around the Sipi falls enjoy the pristine view of the falls. Back to the lodge, have dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Forest walk at Kapkwai Trail
Forest Walk: Wake up, have breakfast leave the lodge with packed lunch as you go to tour the forest. You will visit Kapwai at the exploration centre, then after you can decide to go discover the mountain Bamboo trail which is 7kilometer long, so take a loop through and be able to visit the gorge and its southern edge as well as the gentle river, it’s a humbling experience. Later in the evening, return have dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 3: Sasa Trail
Hiking along Ssasa Trail: Wake up, have breakfast. Then leave for the whole day hiking experience along Sasa trial with your packed lunch. In here you will be able to see the moorland and its beautiful landscapes from a higher altitude. Return back for refreshment, dinner, and overnight.

Day 4: Nature Walk & Return back to Kampala
Nature Walk: Wake up, have breakfast. After your breakfast, go for a brief forest walk where you will be able to see beautiful bird species, vegetation, tree species, have a chance to tour coffee plantation. After, proceed back to Kampala to be dropped at your hotel or to be dropped at Entebbe Airport to catch up flight back home.
