4 Days Uganda Chimpanzees & Wildlife Safari Tour takes you to western region of Uganda in different tourists’ places and national parks. On this trip you will visit Lake Wamala, cultural sites, Kibale national park for Chimpanzee tracking, Semuliki national park for Game drive and lastly with Rwenzori national park. Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Wamala & Nakayima Heritage Site Tour
Transfer to Lake Wamala: Depending on your point of location, our professional driver or guide will pick you after your breakfast, takes you through a short briefing about the 4 Days Uganda Chimpanzees and Wildlife safari tour package. Then you will be transferred to Lake Wamala which is approximately 2:30 hours to access there. You will reach at the lake and experience it’s beauty, this lake forms an ecosystem with wetlands in the surrounding areas. And above all, a home of different several wildlife species such as bush bucks, water bucks, velvets, wild pigs, hippos, baboons and variety of beautiful bird species can be seen here on your visit. You will also visit cultural of this place which is significance to Grand people while you enjoy the nature walk. After proceed the journey to Nakayima where you will pay a short visit to the Nakayima Tree very attractive and is one of the oldest trees in Uganda, a culture site which people consider as a source of the blessing to them. You will then, drive direct to Kibale National Park, that takes 1:30hours drive to your lodge in Kibale. Arrive in late evening, check in at the lodge, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzees Tracking and Visiting Bigodi Wetland
Chimpanzee Tracking: You will wake up early, enjoy your breakfast served at the lodge. Your driver will pick you with your packed lunch box, drives you to the meeting point to be briefed about the dos and don’ts of the Chimpanzees. You then meet the ranger guide to accompanies you to the Kibale forest trail heads to track these endangered chimpanzees. This activity can take 30 to 7 hours tracking depending on their movements. Once they are found, you will be given one hour to observe this unique creature in their nature inhabits, learn about their life style on how they play, feed, swing around the tree thus leaving with quite memorable experience in the life time.
Nature walk: Later on, after tracking. You will have guided nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary that sits nearby Magombe swamp. Around the wetlands, you will be able to spot variety of waterbirds and monkey species. After drive back to the lodge, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Semuliki National Park –game drive/hot springs
Transfer to Semuliki National Park: Wake up early, have breakfast, check out and be transferred to Semuliki National Park with a stopover at Amabeere ga Nyinamwiru caves to experience the amazing looks of this nature. Then you will be driven to Semuliki National Park which is just 1hour from here, arrive early afternoon in the park, check in at the lodge, have early lunch.
Afternoon game drive: After having lunch, go for game drive where you will likely see kobs, buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, leopards, lions, leopards and monkeys although lions and leopards are more elusive during the day, they come out for hunt at night. Along your game drive, you will be driven to Semuliki hot springs which offers both the male and the female hot springs, Bitende known as the male spring and Nyasimbi as female, each reach about 12 meters across gushing hot water and vapour in the air. So visitors are advised to maintain a safe distance as water is boiling hot and can cause burns to your body. After drive back to the lodge, if it’s still early evening. After game drive, drive to Ruboni community camp where you will enjoy cultural performance by the Ruboni village residents ‘’Bakozo people’’ who have been staying here for centuries. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Rwenzori National Park/Return to Kampala or Entebbe
Transfer to Rwenzori: Wake up early, have breakfast, check out of the lodge. Then drive to Rwenzori National Park a home to over 70 mammal’s species,200 bird species and offers a beautiful scenery of landscape covered with green vegetation. On your visit here, you will go for nature walk around the park, also visit the local people and enjoy their amazing traditional dance. After drive back to the lodge to have lunch.
After lunch, depart to Kampala to be dropped at your hotel or at Entebbe International Airport to catch up your flight.
