Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National park

Transfer to Mgahinga: You will wake up early from your hotel in Kampala/Entebbe have breakfast and get ready to be picked up by our safari drive takes you through a short briefing about the 4 Days Uganda gorilla Trekking and wildlife safaris. After briefing set off to south western region at around 7:30 am. You will have a stopover at the Equator enjoy photographs, experience the temperature at 0 degrees. Then proceed to Mbarara town for lunch en route. After lunch continue the drive while passing through the Banana plantation, rolling hills, you will arrive at the park check in the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga national park

Gorilla trekking: Wake up early in the morning have breakfast with packed lunch box, your driver will pick you and drives you to the park headquarter for a short briefing. You will meet the ranger after the briefing to led you to gorilla forest trail heads to search for gorillas. The gorilla trekking experience can take 2 to 8 hours depending on the location of gorillas in their nature habitants. Once you locate the gorilla family, you will be given one hour to stay in the presence of gorillas while learning their   life style, behaves as you take photographs. 

Visit Batwa pygmies: After trekking, you will meet your English speaking guide to led you to Batwa trails deep in the bamboo forest and meet the Batwa pygmies who used to leave with mountain gorillas in the forest. Drive back to the same lodge for dinner and overnight stay. 

Day 3: Mgahinga and Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Transfer to Lake Mburo: You will wake up have breakfast and check out of Mgahinga national park transfer to lake Mburo national park a renowned game park with high concentration of antelopes and other animals like hippos, warthogs, Buchells zebras, buffalos and bird species. While driving through a magnificent view of kigezi highlands. The driving journey will take 6 hours to reach the park, you will have lunch en-route. 

Evening game drive: Then proceed with the journey arrive at the park, check in at the lodge   and go for evening game drive and be able to view range of mammals in the open savannah grassland animals like impala, topis, Uganda kobs, warthogs among others. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Boat cruise on Lake Mburo and Return to Kampala

Boat cruise and Return to Kampala: Wake up have breakfast and drive to Lake Mburo within the park, have boat cruise and be able to view water species such as crocodiles, hippos, species of birds like king fishers, crested cranes, Abyssinian ground hornbills, saddle bill stork many more, buffalos, elephants seen along the water banks. After drive back to the lodge relax or swimming pool.

Later, have lunch and check out of the lodge, depart to Kampala to your hotel or Entebbe Airport to catch up with your flight.
