Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport

Arrival at Kigali International Airport: On day 1 of the 6 Days Uganda Rwanda Gorilla Tour, our professional driver or guide will receive you from Airport and later transfer you to Kigali Rwanda’s capital city, where you will have lunch from. After lunch, you will drive to Ruhengeri to the Volcanoes National Park, which is among the widespread of Virunga Mountains along with Bwindi Impenetrable forest in Uganda and Virunga in Congo which offers a variety of peaks such as Bisoke, Karisimbi, Muhabura and Sabyinyo all inhabitant to the rare great ape ‘’mountain gorillas’’. Arrival at the park and check in at the lodge, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes

Gorilla Trekking: You will wake up early, have breakfast served with delicious snacks in the lodge. After, you will be driven with your packed lunch at the park headquarters to be briefed about the dos and don’ts of Gorilla trekking. Then you will meet the ranger guide to accompanies you to Volcanoes National Park forest trail heads to enjoy the activity. This experience may last 30 to 8 hours depending on their location. Once are found in their nature habits you will get amazed at the Silverbacks as you will be given one hour to watch them playing, feeding their younger ones, communicate to each other. In fact, it will be a day for you to learn more about these gentle giants which are said to be 98% of Human DNA, so make sure utilize your time with them. Back to the lodge, relax, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Golden monkey Tracking/Dain Fossey’s

Golden Monkey Tracking: Wake up, have breakfast with cookies. Go to the park headquarters to meet the trained range guide to lead you to the forest to track these attractive golden monkeys and as you will be tracking in the forest, you will have a great chance to visit Dian Fossey grave who did a great work to protect gorillas of these place. If you’re done with tracking the golden monkeys, you can visit the local community projects, schools around or choose to hike Muhabura or Bisoke Volcanoes. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Travel to Uganda –Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Travel to Uganda: Wake up, have breakfast, checkout of the park. If possible, go for a short city tour. Then after, you can proceed with your journey to Uganda while using Cyanika border which is Uganda –Rwanda boarder to cross over to Uganda. From here it takes a short driving hours to access Bwindi. Arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park, check in at the lodge. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Gorilla Trekking: Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast with snacks served at the lodge. Picked by your driver to drive you to the park quarters with packed lunch box, be briefed about the gorilla’s rules. After go trek with ranger guide in the mist Bwindi forest and as you trek, you will be amazed to have a great view of the silverback and others primates like white and black monkeys, red tailed, colobus monkeys as well as sightseeing of bird species in the forest. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will have one hour with them learn about their social life among others. Later head back to the lodge, have some relaxation.

Visit the Batwa People: Later on, in the evening go visit the Batwa people get to learn about their exciting culture. Back for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Back to Kigali Rwanda

Wake up leisurely, have breakfast, check out of the lodge and wave to the great Bwindi forest and drive back to Kigali for your lunch and be transferred to the Airport for flight back home.
