Queen Elizabeth national park famous park rich in diversity of wildlife species including the tree climbing lions and the Kazinga channel which connects both Lake Edward and Lake George a home to high concentration of hippos in the world, crocodiles, birds and buffaloes many more. We shall also visit Bwindi Impenetrable National Park a proud safari destination worldwide because of hosting the high population of great mountain gorillas in the world with more than 500 individuals. The 7 days’ safari tour starts and ends in Kampala or Entebbe Uganda.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park

Transfer to Kibale National Park: After an early morning breakfast our driver guide will pick you up brief you about the tour. Then proceed to Kibale national park with lunch en-route in Fort portal town and continue a drive to the park with fabulous views of foot hills of the Rwenzori mountains. Arrive at the park which was established in 1993 to protect the increasing great apes ‘’Chimpanzees’’ and vegetation. Check in at the lodge rest, dinner and Overnight stay.

Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner 

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi wetland Visit 

Chimpanzee Tracking: Wake up early have morning breakfast ,drive to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about Chimpanzee tracking .These primates share 98% of the human DNA .After being briefed you will meet your ranger guide to lead you to forest trail head for Chimpanzee tracking but as you will be tracking there is other chances of seeing small primates like red tailed monkeys ,grey checked Mangabey ,bush babies as well as variety of birds such as green breasted pitta ,Yellow spotted nicator, Rumped tinker bird among others. Once you locate them, you will be given one hour to watch our closest relatives in their inhabitants as they play, feed, socializing with each other as well as photography. Come back for Lunch.

Bigodi swamp Visit: Later on, go for nature walk around Bigodi swamp to look out for species like several monkeys, birds and primates among others.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park: After having an early breakfast, you can do a short bird watching in Kibale Forest to discover some notable bird species in the park. After you drive to Queen Elizabeth national park while passing through Fort portal and arrive at the park in time for lunch, enjoy it and check in at the lodge.

Afternoon Game Drive: After lunch, you will drive to the park to adventure more species which makes Queen to be most ranking visited national park on Uganda Wildlife Safari. Back to the lodge for an Overnight.

Day 4: Morning game drive and Boat cruise

Morning game drive: Today will be adventurous day   for you, after having breakfast drive to the park to engage in an early morning game drive to watch out the early morning risers in Kasenyi track. Expect to view variety of wild animals such as lions, elephants, Uganda Kobs, antelopes, Solitary buffaloes among other. Back to the lodge for lunch.

 Afternoon Boat Cruise: After having your lunch, you will drive to Kazinga Channel to jet with the boat cruise where you expect to see water species such as huge number of hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and number of birds around. Return to the lodge for dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 5: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for a gorilla safari

Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest: Have an early morning breakfast and check out of the lodge. Then drive to Ishasha sector to search out for famous tree climbing animals and other animals. After you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park via Ishasha sector through a rewardable savannah vegetation. You will arrive at the park, check in and have lunch.

Visit the Batwa people: Later on, you will go to visit the Batwa people, Community to enjoy their adorable culture entertainment before retiring at your lodge. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking Safari –Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Gorilla Trekking: You will wake up have an early morning breakfast, after be driven to the park headquarter for gorilla trekking briefing. Then you will be allocated to the gorilla family you’re meant to trek in by the park ranger. You will start to hike the forest trailhead in search for gorillas but we advise our clients to be physically fit in the body. Always ensure that before you head out for trekking you have your rain coat, mineral water and rubber boots. As you will be trekking there is other chances of seeing birds, small primates, tree species and beautiful vegetation cover. After locating them you will be given one hour to spend with them as you enjoy their amazing social life, take photography with them many more. Return back at the park head quarter for your certificate which will prove to you for being successful in gorilla trekking. Dinner and Overnight stay

Day 7: Departure

Departure: Wake up enjoy your morning breakfast, check out. Then drive out of the park to head back to Kampala with a stopover at the equator for photography and Lunch. Proceed to Kampala to be dropped off at your resident or Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
