Zebra Safari Lodge; Zebra Safari Lodge is a newly a magical Mid –range safari accommodation found in Karamoja sub region in Karenga district few kilometers away Kalukudo Gate in Opot pot Parish in Uganda’s untouched and unmatched Kidepo Valley National Park. How to get there; From Kampala you can access Zebra Safari Lodge via Gulu –Kitgum approximately 8 to 9 hours’ drive. Alternatively, you can use domestic flight ‘’Aerolink or Bar aviation which resides from ‘’EBB’’ Entebbe International Park. The Aerolink Uganda flight you to the closest Apoka Airstrip which is few minutes to be transferred to the lodge. The lodge has a perfect location that allows unique glimpse with nature to tourists who want to discover the Ugandan beauty and the breathtakingly wild game and scenic landscape.
Zebra Safari Lodge a newly built lodge offers five comfortable king size cottages suitable for all types of visitors who yearn to experience the beautiful savannah landscape. The lodge is built in African traditional building style with grass thatched roof and glass slided windows with comforts.
Cottages are nice looking furnished with private en suite facilities of flushing toilets, bathroom with hot and cold showers, beds wrapped with mosquito nets, extinguishers, hand wash basins, white duvets, dressing mirrors, free toiletries, chairs and tables, mineral water bottle among others.
These cottages are well designed with large veranda, private wooden balconies and large sitting areas with rewardable view of the scenic open landscape and surrounding area.
They are well equipped with comfortable and spacious beds with queen sized beds with queen sized beds.
Rooms have different size with single beds a person, double-twin bed for sharing and family and triple roaming. The rooms have different costs ranging from USD150 per night and above. When it comes in low season.

Kidepo Valley National Park is African untouched wilderness that lies in northeastern direction of Uganda, covering to an area about 1,442 square kilometers and was created as national park in 1958 under governing body ‘’UWA’’ Uganda Wildlife Authority. The park is located in Kaabong district approximately 8 to 9 hours’ drive from Kampala via Gulu – Kitgum to the main destination. Despite the fact, Kidepo is a home to over 86 animal species such as lions, cheetah, leopards, Rothschild’s giraffe, elephants, wild dogs, zebra, African buffalo, spotted hyena among others. The park is also a great location for birding since it inhabits about 500 bird species and some of birds to see include; ostriches , Silver bird ,Yellow-billed shrike ,Marsh Tchagra , Karamoja Apalis , Yellow rumped Seedeater ,Black coucal ,Ostrich ,Verreaux’s eagle ,Clappeton’s Francolin among others .Here are some of activities to can do on visit to the Zebra Safari Lodge such as Nature walks ,Community visits to Karamoja ‘s manyatta ,bird watching ,hot spring visit in Kanangorok among others.
