Kalinzu Forest is home to approximately 40 chimpanzees habituated for chimpanzee trekking yet the forest is home to more than 300 chimpanzees.
Kalinzu Forest is also home to blue monkeys, black and white colobuses, and vervet monkeys among others. In addition to primates, Kalinzu Forest is home to over 410 bird species, butterflies, moths, reptiles among others.
