Park Entrance fees for Queen Elizabeth National Park are the charges that are levied on a traveler who wishes to access the national park for different game activities. Different activities have different charges in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Park Entrance Fees for Queen Elizabeth National Park

Queen Elizabeth national park one of the Uganda National parks and someone that needs to visit this conservation area must first pay park entrance fees in order to be allowed to access the park. The money being collected as the entrance fee supports the wildlife reserves and forest reserves governed by Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA).  

Before you get entrance acceptance, a traveler is requested to present in his or her valid identification in order to know your nationality. There are three categories of visitors i.e. East African citizens, Foreigners and Foreign residents. Foreigners are required to present in their valid passports for verification. Foreign residents of Uganda are required to present their valid working permits and the East African citizen presents in their national identification cards in order to be allowed to pay for their park entrance fees for Queen Elizabeth national park. 

Foreigners are supposed to pay $40 per person per day for entrance fees. Foreign residents of Uganda pay $30 and East African citizens pay UGX20,000 only. These charges permit only a single person per day. Children under the age of 15 years do not pay these charges.

Annual park fee.

You can decide to pay the annual park entrance fees for Queen for one year and a foreign resident of Uganda pays $350, a couple of foreign residents are liable to pay $500 only. An East African member as an individual is supposed to pay Ugx 150,000 and couples are required to pay UGX200,000 as annual park entry fees to Queen Elizabeth national park. A family of East African citizens is eligible to pay annual park entry rates at UGX 300,000 only. A family for foreign residents is entitled to pay USD 1,500only. The corporates of East African citizens are eligible to pay Ugx 2.5 million for annual park entry fees. A family of foreign residents consists of 4 children pay USD 700 and citizens of East African communities to pay UGX30,000 to cover for annual park entry fees. A Safari guide who is an East African citizen is Charged UGX 10,000 for annual park entrance fees for Queen Elizabeth national park. Tour company drivers are not charged for the park entrance fees to Queen Elizabeth national park.

A tour operator who is a foreign resident of Uganda pays USD 50 for annual park entrance fees. A tour operator who is a citizen of the East African community is entitled to pay UGX 125,000 for the annual parking entrance fees. 

Vehicle park entrance fees.

Saloon cars are charged $40 for the foreign residents and $20 for the East African citizens.

Ugandan motorcycles with foreigners pay USD30 and UGX 10,000 for the East African communities. 

Ugandan minibusses with foreigners pay USD 50 and the parking fee of minibusses for East African Resident is UGX 3,0000.

Small pickups and 4WD cars are pay USD 50 for foreign residents and the ones who are East African residents pay only UGX 30,000.

Since national parks are good at educating about wildlife conservations, schools visit this park and pay UGx 500 per child.
