The 5 Days Uganda Rwanda Primate Safari is a designed primitive safari tour package with Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park, gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park, and golden monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park. The tour either starts or ends in Kampala, Uganda or Kigali, Rwanda.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Start the safari with a pickup from your hotel in Kigali or Airport by the tour guide. Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park through the border crossing to enter Uganda. Arriving in the evening. Dinner and an overnight stay at Primate Lodge -Midrange, Chimpundu Safari Lodge – Luxury

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and Transfer to QENP
Enjoy an early morning breakfast at the lodge before setting off to the park headquarters for a briefing about chimp trekking rules. Afterward, walk into the forest to search for chimpanzees and once they are found, you will be given an hour to observe their behaviors and habits and feed their younger ones as well as capture video.
After an encounter with chimps, trek back to meet your driver guide to transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival, you will have an en-route evening game drive in the park. Connect to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Elephant Hab (mid-range) or Mweya Safari (luxury).
Day 3: Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Enjoy morning breakfast at the lodge before embarking on an en-route morning game drive in the Ishasha sector. You will be able to spot tree-climbing lions hanging on fig trees and other animal species. Continue to drive to Bwindi National Park for dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Haven – Midrange and Buhoma Lodge – Luxury
Day 4: Gorilla Tracking and Transfer to Volcanoes NP
After morning breakfast, carry your packed lunch at the lodge, and embark to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your gorilla tracking experience. You will be given an hour to spend with them, observing the gorillas’ behaviors, habit, feed and picture taking. Afterward, transfer to Volcanoes National Park for an overnight stay at Muhabura Hotel, Davinci Lodge – Midrange.
Day 5: Golden Monkey Tracking / Departure
Enjoy an early morning breakfast before heading on a golden monkey tracking in the forest. You will be allowed to watch them play on the tree branches, feed and behave in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, depart back to Kigali, where you will be dropped off for your next destination.
End of the tour.
