1 Day Uganda Rhino Tracking Tour takes you to Uganda’s Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary the only place where you can find Rhinos in Uganda. Moreover, it is positioned along the Gulu highway approximately 176 kilometers from Kampala to the main point and covers an area of 70 square kilometers which was formerly a private ranch. Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is located en –route to Murchison Fall national park Uganda’s largest park and many visit this sanctuary as part of safari to Murchison in order to discover the big five mammals. 1 Day Rhino Tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After an early morning breakfast, we shall set off to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary the only place where you can track Rhinos in Uganda. Upon arrival at the Sanctuary, you will be briefed by the ranger guide on how to behave while on the track because Rhinos can be aggressive if they sense something wrong towards them they end up depending themselves. This is an activity done on foot but because of their location we might need to drive closer to their location in order to cut off the walking distance .The ranger guide will share to you different information on the behaviors of Rhinos  and how you are supposed to behave while your tracking them .After allocating the Rhinos ,you will be given one hour to stay with them as you learn their life style and how they survive .You will have an opportunity of visiting more than one group and also sightseeing other mammals like Bushbucks ,Kobs ,Leopard ,Waterbucks, duiker as well as various bird species among others.
