Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Transfer to Lake Mburo: You will be transferred to Lake Mburo national park after an early morning breakfast with a stopover at the Equator for water experiment and photographic experience. Proceed to the park with a stop along the way to spot some of birds which are hardly missed localities with in the park such as Woolly-Necked Stork, Lilac Breasted Roller, Rufous Bellied Heron among others it will be worthy an experience while on this birding route in Uganda. You will arrive at the park within 4 to 5 driving hours check in and have lunch.

After go for evening game drive to have chances of spotting several birds and wild animals in savannah grassland by a trained guide mentioning their names one by one. Dinner and Overnight stay

Day 2: Bird Watching –Lake Mburo

Bird Watching: Wake up go for nature walk in the interesting trails within the protected park but after your breakfast. You will be accompanied by a trained guide for bird watching remember our attention is on the search of notable species such as Brown Chested Plover, Buff Bellied Warbler, Black Shouldered Cuckoo Shrike, Bare faced Go-away birds, Red Billed Wood Hope, red Headed Weaver, Red Faced Barbet, Coqui Francolin among other Acacia associated birds. Return back for lunch.

Afternoon Boat Cruise: Later on, go to the boat cruise on lake Mburo in search for aquatic birds like African Finfoot, White Backed and Black Crowned Night Heron, Giant Kingfisher among others. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive/Drive Back to Entebbe 

Morning Game Drive: After an early breakfast, drive through the park to spot other species of birds you might have missed out within those previous two days and later drive back to Entebbe or Kampala after your tasty lunch. The journey takes 4 to 5 hours.
