4 Days Bwindi Gorilla trekking Tour takes you to either Bwindi National Park or Mgahinga National Park in Uganda for an amazing encounter with the mountain gorilla. Mgahinga gorilla national park is home to the Virunga volcanoes shared with Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo and home to the Virunga. It is the smallest of all Uganda national parks but filled with engaging activities for any outdoor enthusiast. On this gorilla trekking and cultural safari, you will be able to explore the beauty of this park.

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Depending on your location in Kampala/Entebbe, our company driver guide will pick you up, brief you about the safari and then start the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On the way you will have a stopover for en-route lunch where after you will continue the journey with spectacular views of the countryside, beautiful landscapes, Kigezi hills, terraced farmlands, plantations among others. Upon arrival in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park you will check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
After an early breakfast on the second day, you will carry your packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing you will start trekking in the forest which takes about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on where the mountain gorillas are found. During trekking you will be able to view other primates, mammals, different bird species, plant and tree species many others.
Once the gorilla family is found you will be allowed to spend an hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you a chance to watch them carry out their daily activities such as feeding, breastfeeding, playing, grooming young ones, learn about their habits, behaviors, take photos and record the breathtaking moments.
After the one hour of meeting up with the gentle giants, you will trek back to the meeting Centre where you will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking, meet up with your driver guide and drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Cultural tour and relaxation
On the third day of the safari, you will have breakfast at leisure and later meet up with your driver guide to go for an amazing Cultural tour where you will be able to interact with the Batwa people, learn about their culture, way of living, visit their homesteads, enjoy their traditional performances many others. After the cultural tour, you will return to the lodge for lunch and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight as above.

Day 4: Departure to Kampala
After a relaxed breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kampala. On the way you will have en-route lunch in Mbarara town and then proceed with another stopover at the Equator to take photos, buy souvenirs many others. From the Equator, you will then proceed to Kampala where you will arrive early evening.
Upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of advice.
