Vilakazi Safari Camp is an excellently based safari lodge built to serve thousands of travelers on their both short and long comfortable stay in beautiful wilderness of the Pearl of Africa in the famous Murchison Falls National Park Uganda’s oldest and largest national park that houses diversity of wildlife species around 76 mammals ,450 bird species , primates like unique Chimpanzees ,black and white colobus monkeys ,red tailed monkeys among others ,located in northwestern regions of Uganda estimating about 4 to 5 hours’ drive from Kampala to final destinations. Alternatively, you can access the park by domestic flight from Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi airstrip –Aerolink Uganda that can fly you to one of the park’s landing site Pakuba Airstrip or Chobe Airstrip.
In general, the camp is located in the buffer zone of the park and its location offers great enjoyments of the same setting and habitats of the park. It also offers amazing opportunity to enjoy wildlife like giraffes, various bird species, occasional elephants visit the campsites as well as enabling the tourists to be the first witness of the dawn breaking over the Murchison Falls national park.
The campsite is clothed in cloaks of greenery and trimmed with the rugged nature that looks similar to those of Murchison Falls National Park that havens wildlife species of tourists from adjoining wilderness. Well, the campground offers with gainful views of both river Nile and the Jungle setting.

Chimpanzee tracking

The tracking process can take 30 to 5 hours hiking through the forest trails heads and once you find these species one hour is given to you to view how they play; feed survive in the forest among others.
