Major Attractions In Bwindi Impenetrable National Park : Bwindi Impenetrable National park is located within the Southwestern region of Uganda in Kanungu district and it was established as a national park in 1994 and it was named as a UNESCO Heritage site which is being managed by Uganda wildlife Authority that is a famously known as a government agency program that has a fully responsibility of protecting and conserving all the game parks in the country.  More so, Bwindi Impenetrable National park is considered to be among the smallest national park covering a total surface area of about 321 square kilometers and stands at an elevated area between 1,160 meters and 2,607 meters above the sea level. Bwindi Impenetrable national park is a home to over 400 mountain gorillas that are always available for trekking and about 19 habituated gorilla groups whereby some of these are purposely meant for research purposes. More so, these mountain gorillas are found within four sectors such as; Buhoma, Ruhija, Nkuringo sector, Rushaga sector. And for tourists who are interested in trekking these species are always encouraged to purchase their trekking permits in advance in order to avoid any inconveniences during the right time of the trekking however, they should individuals should note that these permits in Bwindi national park are always charged at a cost of about 700 USD per person and before the trekking tourists are always briefed about the rules and regulations to follow and they are put in groups with a maximum number of 8 people depending on which gorilla group they are willing trek.

Munyanga waterfall.
