Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe and Optional Sightseeing
Depart from Kigali for Nyungwe Forest National Park with en-route visit the King’s palace in Nyanza or the Rwanda National Museum in Butare.
Later, in the evening -arrive and connect to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Canopy Walk
Wake up early, enjoy delicious breakfast and then, be driven to an early morning briefing at the park headquarter for the chimpanzee tracking activity.
In the afternoon, head on the canopy walk, a suspended walkway 70 meters above the forest floor. Later, take a guided hike on the Gisura tea estates or a waterfall hike. Have dinner and night over at the lodge.

Day 3: Departure and return to Kigali
After breakfast, start your transfer back to Kigali. Enjoy en-route scenic drive through Rwanda’s rolling hills. Arrive in the afternoon and be dropped off at your hotel or the airport in Kigali for your departure.
