Day 1:Kampala – lake Mburo Np
Our tour guide will transfer you from your hotel and then drive south west to Lake Mburo National Park making a stopover at Mpambire to see the fascinating ancient ways of making drums. You will then proceed to the Equator where you will have another stopover to take photographs before finally arriving in Lake Mburo national park.
After lunch, you will have a game drive down the track by the lakeside, where you will be able to see several frola and fauna. Along the Kigambira loop trail, you will get a chance to see numerous bush duikers plus bushbucks in this wilderness area. Camp at Rwonyo rest camp or Wilderness Campsites
Day 2: Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast go for a morning game drive along the Kazuma track that goes through the wooded grassland. The breathtaking view of the Kazuma hill offers a genuine exposure and opportunity to explore Lake Mburo National Park. Down this trail you as well get a chance to view all the five lakes inside the park together with the verdant rolling hills. Right After lunch, go for a two hours boat ride on the Lake. During the ride, you will be able to see various animals and water birds such as crocodiles, hippos plus water birds including Herons, pelicans and black crakes among many others. Night camping at Rwonyo rest camp or Wilderness Campsites.
Day 3: Lake Mburo – Kampala
After breakfast enjoy a guided nature walk in the park. This walk will take you up to the salt-lick area that offers you an opportunity to see a minimum of 4 different animal species licking at these salty soils each time you visit the park. Then in the afternoon after lunch you will transfer back to Kampala.
