Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth: Depending on traveller’s point of location, our driver guide will pick you up after your morning breakfast, be briefed about the trip. Then continue to drive to Queen Elizabeth national park in south western region of Uganda with a stopover at the Uganda Equator to view how Longitude is at zero degrees Celsius, buy craft materials at the craft shop around for your remembrance. After proceed to drive straight to the park. Arrive at the park have lunch.

Community walk: Later on, go for community walk led by the trained local guide good in English, you will as well visit the fishing land site, learn about traditional canoe experience, visit the Crater lakes inside the  park

Day 2: Morning game drive and Boat Cruise –Queen 

Morning game drive: Wake up early have morning breakfast served with snacks, after drive to the park to adventure out wildlife species which call themselves species of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The activity starts early at 6:30am and exactly 7am drive to the park in an open savannah grassland of Kasenyi plains in search for mammals. You will expect to see variety of mammals such as herds of elephants crossing the road, buffaloes, waterbucks, Uganda kobs and many more. Drive back to the lodge have lunch as you prepare for evening boat cruise.

Afternoon Boat cruise: Later on, go for a boat cruise on the kazinga channel, a channel that connects with lake Edward and lake George. Boat cruise at kazinga channel begins at 2pm.Expect to sight see the highest concentration of hippos, crocodiles, view other animals on banks of channel while drinking water such animals include elephants, buffalo’s waterbucks among others. Return to the lodge for rest, dinner and overnight in the same lodge you used at first.

Day 3: Morning Game drive/Return to Kampala or Entebbe Airport

Morning Game drive: After morning breakfast, Checkout drive to Ishasha sector for wildlife viewing such as the rare tree-climbing lions, antelopes, herds of Elephants among others. Then drive out of the park back to Kampala with a stop at Igongo Culture centre for Ankole Culture experience, view the long horned cattle, visit the local people of Ankole, have your lunch here. Proceed to Kampala to be dropped to your place of resident or at Entebbe International Airport to catch up your flight back home.
