3 Days Uganda Gorilla Habituation Safari takes you to explore the home of the half remaining mountain gorillas in the world-renowned as Bwindi Impenetrable national park. This trip will let you to participate in training with mountain gorillas for a maximum of 4 hours in order to get them used to human presence, a full day activity. This safari will start and end in Kampala or Entebbe Airport.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
Transfer to Bwindi: After your morning breakfast, you will be picked from the hotel in Kampala by our safari driver guide who will brief you about the trip before you start the journey. After briefing, you will set off to southwestern Uganda to Bwindi impenetrable national park approximately 9 to 10hours drive inclusive with a stopover at the Equator for photography and some experiments. Then proceed to Mbarara town for lunch en route and you will continue to drive passing through scenic landscape with great views of banana plantations, tea plantation. Arrive at the park in the evening in Rushanga region, check in at the lodge, relax while preparing for your gorilla habituation tour the next day. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Habituation Experience –Bwindi Impenetrable forest
Gorilla Habituation: Wake up early enjoy your breakfast with delicious snacks served at the lodge with your packed lunch box. Your driver will transfer you to park headquarter for pre-gorilla’s habituation briefing. Gorilla habituation experience is a full day activity and trackers are given 4 hours to spend with mountain gorillas in their natural habitat to learn about their life style, collect gorilla’s samples, take photography with them. After briefing, you will be led by ranger guide for your gorilla habituation experience, an activity that takes 4 hours habituating with mountain gorillas together with a team of trackers and researcher to make them get used to human presence. Hiking may last from 5 to 9 hours depending on their movements. Return back to your lodge for relaxation. Dinner and Overnight stay
Day 3: Return back to Kampala/Entebbe Airport
Return back to Kampala: Wake up on leisure morning enjoy breakfast, then checkout of the lodge and be transferred back to Kampala with lunch en route. You will arrive early evening in Kampala to be dropped at your hotel or Entebbe Airport to catch up by your flight back to home country.
