7 Days Uganda Gorillas & Kenya Masai Mara Safari is a one-week safari in both Uganda and Kenya the East African countries. This trip will start from Uganda landing to Entebbe International Airport then be driven to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for incredible gorilla trekking activity ,then you will take a domestic flight Aero link carrier from Kisoro to Masai Mara national park where you will enjoy the true African wilderness in the heart of Kenya where millions of people gather during the natural event of the migration of the wildebeest species and the 7 days Uganda and Kenya safaris will end in Nairobi with a flight back home at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or Wilson Airport.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive and Pick up from Entebbe Airport

Arrive: Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will meet our professional driver guide to pick you up and be driven to Kampala hotel for lunch depending on time. If time allows you in the evening you can do Kampala city tour to places like Uganda museum to learn about the history of Uganda, then after end with visiting Ndere culture centre where you will be amazed with lots of excitements and soft drinks served on your table. Drive back to your lodge for dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Airport

Transfer to Bwindi: You will wake up enjoy your breakfast with delicious snack served at the hotel. After we shall head to the south-western region of Uganda to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Along your way to Bwindi, you will have a stopover at the equator to experience the zero-degree experiment as well as taking photographs. Then proceed to Mbarara town for another stopover at the Igongo Cultural centre experience the Ankole traditional dance, visit the craft shops around, have lunch en route. You will continue the drive to Bwindi mountain gorillas in Kisoro district go winding with rewardable sights to journey that last between 9-10 hours together with the stopover made along the way. You will arrive in the evening where you will have to check in at your lodge, have dinner and overnight stay.

Day3: Gorilla trekking –Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Gorilla trekking: Wake up early in the morning have breakfast served with cookies at the lodge. Then meet your driver with your served packed lunch boxes and be transferred to park headquarters to join other groups in briefing for gorilla trekking. After briefing, if you have heavy luggage hire a porter to help you and you will be accompanied by the ranger in the forest trailhead, please you should follow the instructions given by your ranger while in the wild. Gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi is unpredictable basing on the time it can take 2 to 8hours depending on the movements of gorillas. You must be physically fit in the body to hike for long hours. Once gorillas are found, you will be given one hour with them, learn about their lifestyle, enjoy picture taking for digital cameras. After trekking, if time allows we can opt for evening walk in Batwa trails to interact with Batwa people get filled with their interesting entertainments of dance and drama, listen to their exciting storytelling on how they lived with mountain gorillas in the forest before gazetting into Bwindi National Park. Return to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 4: Fly to Maasai Mara national reserve

Fly to Maasai Mara: You will wake up enjoy your breakfast, checkout of the lodge and head to Kisoro Airfield for a domestic flight to Maasai Mara national reserve. You will land at the airstrip near the park and be welcomed by our Kenyan safari guide who will introduce you to activities to participate in while in Kenya Masai Mara national reserve. Our driver guide will drive you to your lodge in the park where you will check in, rest and latter have lunch but time matters.

Evening game drive: After, you will go for evening game drive within the closest locations around the lodge to spend in your night since Masai Mara is a very big park with lots of species and tourist attraction to encounter. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Full Day Game – Masai Mara

Full Day Game in Masai Mara: After enjoying your served breakfast with delicious snacks .You will drive to the park to enjoy the full day in the true wilderness of Masaai Mara where you will be to see wide range of wildlife species grazing in the park and if you’re lucky you visit the park between July to October it just goes beyond what you expected to encounter in Mara because during this period of the year it’s when the event of wildebeest migration attracts millions of people to come celebrate the natural event on the continent of Africa. Wildebeests can be encountered in two national parks of Serengeti national park in Tanzania and Masai Mara national park in Kenya migrating via Mara river. Drive back late in the evening for Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Morning Balloon safari and Afternoon game drive

Morning Balloon safari: Wake up early be driven to the park where you will be served with bush breakfast as they assemble the balloon. After you will go to experience the activity up in the skies of Maasai Mara where you will have rewardable Aerial view of the big cats in the park, scenic vegetation, wide range of mammals such as hippos, elephants, buffaloes, wildebeest, warthogs, zebras, the experience is worth a visit. You will land and be a warded with certificates. Drive back to the lodge rest and lunch as you get ready for Afternoon game drive.

Afternoon game drive: Later on, go for afternoon game drive to explore the park’s wildlife species and then drive back to the lodge for Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Morning game drive /Depart to Jomo Kenyatta Airport

Morning game drive: On your last day of the 7 Days Uganda Gorillas & Kenya Masai Mara safari. After your breakfast, you will drive to the park to explore all the parts you would have not visited. After you will return back to the lodge for lunch and check out of the lodge. Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for departure.
