Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve – Optional Night game drive
On day 1 of the 11 Days Kenya Tanzania Safari and Zanzibar Holidays, upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta airport or depending on your location in Nairobi city, meet your safari driver to embark on your journey to Maasai Mara National Reserve, which is along the floor of the magnificent rift valley for unlimited game drive and land of the Maasai people. This will take about a 5-6 hour drive with an en-route stop for sightseeing. Upon arrival, connect to your booked lodge for check-in, have lunch, and spend your afternoon relaxing at the lodge or connect for an afternoon game drive. Day 2: Maasai Mara full-day game viewing
On day 2 of the 11 Days Kenya Tanzania Safari and Zanzibar Holidays, after breakfast, full day in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents, The Maasai Mara plains are full of wildebeest during migration season from early July to end of September, zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle are regularly seen, leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared foxes. Black rhinos are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance if you are lucky. Hippos are abundant in the Mara River as are very large Nile crocodiles, which lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures. Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti National Park via the Isabenia border
You will have a very early breakfast and check from the lodge to embark on your journey to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. You will have an en-route game drive on your way to the Isebania border where you will be crossing the border. This day will take you to the other side of Maasai Mara as you exit the park via Olololo gate in Mara West.
Upon arrival at the border, the customs office will do clearance after which, meet your Tanzanian driver guide to proceed to Serengeti where you will enter the park with the game drive lasting up to 2 hours as you enjoy the plains of Serengeti. Day 4: Full-day game drive in Northern Serengeti National Park
Have early breakfast, get parked lunch, and go for a full day game drive we start from far North around the Mara River in case you come in the opposite month when the migration will start from Serengeti after missing it from Mara Kenya side now this will be your turn to enjoy the best. Spend the whole day looking for animals like Hippos, Elephants, Buffalos, Giraffes, Lions, Hyenas, Cheetahs, Antelopes, Hartebeest, zebras mention but a few. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at the lodge above

Day 5: Central Serengeti morning game drive – transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area
After your delicious breakfast, meet your driver and embark on yet another game drive in Serengeti National Park before you embark to your next destination, Ngorongoro Conservation Area en-route game drive and visit to Ol duvai gorge, which is an archaeological site where evidence of early man relating to human evolution was discovered by Dr. Mary and Louis Leakey. Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Drive
After breakfast, meet your safari driver and transfer to the Ngorongoro conservation area where you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a full-day safari tour. Supported by year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a wide variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot.
You will also visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds can usually be seen here. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above

Day 7: Lake Manyara guided nature walk – transfer to Arusha
After breakfast, transfer to Lake Manyara National Park, which is about a 2 2-hour drive, connect for a nature walk and be rewarded with great views of animals and the landscape. Day 8: Fly to Zanzibar – Arusha Airport
After breakfast at the lodge, embark on a 2-hour drive to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the Arusha airport for your onward flight to Zanzibar. Flight Link operates daily flights from Arusha Airport to Zanzibar Airport departing at 10:00 hours and arriving at Zanzibar at 11:15 hours.
Upon arrival in Zanzibar, have an en-route lunch and explore the stone town. Explore the alleyways of the town as you get to know about the history of Zanzibar and its different cultures.
