Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up at Entebbe International Airport
Pick up at Entebbe Airport: Up on your arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will meet our company representative who will welcome you to the pearl of Africa with a short briefing about the trip. Then drives you to Entebbe Botanical Gardens one of the best birding area in Uganda but it will depend on time of arrival at the Airport because the place is located close to the Airport with few driving kilometres to reach there. After be transferred to your booked hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 2: Visit Mabamba Swamps
Visit Mabamba Swamps: After an early morning breakfast ,your driver guide will embark you to the Mabamba swamps to encounter for numerous bird species and we advise birders never to visit Uganda birding safari and leave out Mabamba swamps .Birding along here is best enjoyed on canoeing as a significant scale for waterfowl ,it can also be done in woodland and open grassland which starts around Mabamba bay .The best spotting time is morning hours and evening time when the weather is still cool .Please remember to carry a pair of binocular.
A variety of bird species to sight see here include Papyrus Gonolek ,the elusive Shoebill ,Goliath Heron ,Long-toed Plover ,White faced Whistling duck, Purple Heron, Common Squacco ,Pygmy Goose ,Swamp Moorhen, Allen’s Gallinule ,Mosque Swallow ,White-Shouldered Tit ,Brown Snake Eagle ,Striped Kingfisher ,Common Stonechat ,Little Bee-eater ,Klaas’s Cuckoo ,Tropical Boubou ,Black Grake ,Eurasian Hobby ,Weyn’s Weaver ,Red-checked Cuckoo ,Yellow White eye ,Common and black-capped waxbill ,Sand Martin ,Fulvous Whistling Duck mentioned but few .You will also see swamp antelope ,the Sitatunga and many more of wildlife species .After birding ,you will drive back to your hotel .Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day3: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Transfer to Lake Mburo: You will wake up have morning breakfast and be transferred to Lake Mburo with a stopover at the Equator for photography and some viewing experiment made around. Then you will proceed to the park through beautiful scenery. Arrive at the park, check in and have lunch.
Evening Game Drive: Later on, go for evening game drive to view some species of birds and range of wild animals such as Zebras, elephants, warthogs many more. Back to the lodge dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Full day Birding –Lake Mburo National Park
Full Day Birding: Wake up have an early breakfast before you set out for birding in a game car. You will go for birding and come back for your lunch.
Birding: Later on ,you will go for birding along Lake Mburo with a boat ride in search for various species of Blue-spotted Wood Dove ,African Fin foot ,Coqui ,the Red-winged Francolins , Common Button Quail ,White headed and Black-billed Barbet ,Greenwood Hoopoe ,Lilac breasted Roller ,African-grey Hornbill ,the Nubian, Grey Woodpeckers ,Trilling Stout ,Wing snapping Cisticolas ,African-wattled Plover Rufous napped and Flappet Larks ,Yellow-throated Long claw ,Black-winged Bishop ,Chubb’s ,Carruthers’s ,Cisticolas ,Black headed heron ,Great White and Pink-backed Pelicans ,African fish Eagle ,African Fin foot ,Red-winged Francolins ,Barefaced Go-away bird ,Harlequin and Blue Quails ,Common Scimtarbill among others species to see here .Back to the lodge dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Return to Kampala or Entebbe
Return to Kampala: After having an early breakfast, embark for morning game drive to search for more species possibly we missed out the previous days. You will then check out and head back to Entebbe with lunch en-route in Masaka. Proceed to Entebbe for birding at Entebbe Botanical Gardens .Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 6: Departure
Departure: Wake up leisurely have morning breakfast at your hotel with rewardable views of Lake Victoria the second largest lake in the World as well as enjoying the fresh breeze of the lake. Have lunch, check out and make sure you carry all your things. Go for your departure flight at Entebbe International Airport.
