Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary sits on largest lake in Africa Lake Victoria and to access it ,you need to take a boat to reach there ,Ngamba Island is a fenced Island being a home of chimpanzees .Uganda wildlife Education center provides a backdoor activity to the tourists/travelers .After engaging in Uganda’s tourist activities into its protective areas and game parks ,depart to Kenya for more activities in Nairobi national park known as Kenya’s oldest safari destination and capital of wildlife ,located close to the city center Nairobi Capital ,then visit giraffe center study about their life style ,feed them and get amazed time with this species .Thus calling it a worthy visit to East African Safari destination ‘’Uganda &Kenya’’.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Fly from Entebbe Airport to Kidepo valley national park 

You will arrive at Entebbe Airport early, transfer to Kidepo National Park from Entebbe by charter flight. Arrive and check in by midday and enjoy a sumptuous lunch African style in a true wilderness of Kidepo.

Game drive: Later, in the afternoon go for a game drive at the Kanangorok Hot springs, enjoy the great view of the vast Ostriches running around near the border of Uganda and southern Sudan. Then after depart to Nuras Valley to see herds of buffaloes, giraffes, relax while seated on board the tour van with a complimentary bottle of wine and cheese. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning game drive and nature walk 

Game drive: Wake up early have breakfast, prepare for your morning game drive ,drive to the park and watch species which you missed out in the evening game drive .You will be able to watch variety of mammals such as lions ,elephants ,buffalos ,giraffes ,cheetahs ,bushbuck ,duiker ,eland ,lion ,zebras among others ,bird life like Ostriches ,ground hornbill ,red eyed barbet ,bee eater ,secretary bird ,purple heron ,Karamoja Apalis among others .After game drive ,back to the lodge for lunch and have restful afternoon as you get ready for another activity.

Guided nature walks: Later in the evening, have nature walk led by a guide to Morongule Mountains in view. Enjoy the cool breeze as you walk through the shrub, get a chance to view some unique birds that a vail themselves. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight to your first choice stay lodge in Kidepo.

Day 3: Fly from Kidepo national park to Entebbe Airport

Wake up at leisure and enjoy a laid coffee with snacks in the thrubs of Kidepo. At midday, check out of the lodge, off to Kidepo Airstrip and transfer to Entebbe Airport. Arrive at the Airport by midday received by our experienced tour guide, transferred to waterfront beach and board a speed boat to Ngamba Island for only 45 minutes on the beautiful Lake Victoria. Received by the welcoming staff and check in to their luxurious tented accommodation, have lunch at their restaurant.

Chimp habituation: Get a Chimp briefing about the sanctuary and go to the Ngamba forest for chimp habituation for the rest of the afternoon. Return for your early dinner and relax to the sound of the water on the shore.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Feeding and back to Mainland

Chimpanzee feeding: Wake up early enjoy your breakfast with all the island wild fruits displayed for taste. Then after, go for chimp feeding activity ‘’as a complimentary activity to all overnight guests only’’ at the view point and get involved into chimp charity activities.

Visit Uganda Wildlife Centre: Have an early lunch, check out and head back to the mainland and visit Uganda Wildlife Education Centre for a back door activity. Touch the leopards, feed the elephants, feel the python around neck. Depart UWEC for Entebbe Airport for a flight to Nairobi. Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta Airport and be driven to Nairobi national park for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Morning game drive 

Game drive: Wake up have breakfast, after go for game drive have wonderful time to view all the big four plus other species such as lions, buffalo, rhino, giraffes, leopard, hyenas, cheetahs, wildebeest and zebra’s migration if it’s the season. Return have lunch at the lodge.

Canopy safari walk: In the afternoon, head for canopy safari walk for the rest of the time. Later back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Visit giraffe center and Transfer to the hotel or Airport

Visit Giraffe Center: Wake up for breakfast and go for giraffe center to have amazing close view of the giraffes and feed them. Return to the lodge for lunch and check out of the lodge. Then transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch up with the flight.
