Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pickup at Entebbe Airport

Pickup at Entebbe Airport: On your arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will meet our company representative who will drive you to your booked accommodation while briefing you about the trip. Arrive at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Visit Buganda Kingdom/Palace

Visit Buganda Kingdom: After your morning breakfast, you will first go visit the Uganda National Museum before heading to the Buganda Kingdom to learn more about history. After you will visit the palace which is a burial sites of the Buganda Kings to know why the place still exists ‘’the Kasubi tombs’’. Later on, you will visit the coronation sites of Buganda kings. Drive back to the hotel for Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 3: Depart to the Source of the Nile in Jinja 

Depart to the Source of the Nile: You will wake up early have morning breakfast, then depart to the Source of the Nile in the Eastern Uganda in Jinja district, a journey that takes 2 driving hours. On your way to Jinja, you can visit Sezibwa falls and then embark to visit the source of the Nile. Upon your arrival in Jinja area, you will go visit the Busoga king’s palace to learn about its history their traditional norms. Later drive to your hotel in Jinja for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Depart to Mbale Town

Depart to Mbale Town: After morning breakfast, you will depart to Mbale Town a driving journey that takes 3hours to arrive. Arrive at the hotel, check in and then go visit the Mutoto cultural site which hosts the circumcision ceremony the so called Imbalu which happens each year as a symbol of their culture norms. This circumcision of male teenager is seen as a process through which men are initiated into adulthood. Later on, go visit the Kakungulu hill where kakungulu was buried and today where the Jewish centre sits. Return for Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel

Day 5: Drive to Sipi Falls /Visit sebei caves

Drive to Sipi Falls: Wake up enjoy your breakfast, then drive to Sipi Falls for a nature walk to the falls where you will be rewarded with great views of Lake Albert, green plantation around and even the falls are worth rewarding.

In the Afternoon, you will go visit the Sebei caves learn more about the Cultures of the Sebei people. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Depart to Moroto

Depart to Moroto: After your morning breakfast, you will head to Moroto and arrive in time for lunch. After you will go visit the Karamoja museum much associated with unique traditional materials. Return to your lodge relax, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Full Day in Moroto

Full-Day Explore Wake up have your breakfast, then go visit Ateker cultural centre to learn about its history. Later on, you will go for hiking on Mount Moroto where you will meet the people Tepeth tribe and have been here for centuries, spend some time with them learn about their culture and on the way they survive along here. Return to the lodge for Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer to Gulu

Transfer to Gulu: After morning breakfast, then transfer to Gulu. You will arrive early in time for lunch and after you will go visit Fort Patiko which is also referred to as Bakers fort which was created in 1872 by Sir Samuel Baker. Later it was positioned by the Queen as military base during the colonial days. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 9: Full Day Explore in Gulu

Full Day Explore in Gulu: On Day 9 after breakfast, you will go visit the local community in Gulu as well as the Museum in Gulu town. After you will go visit the craft shops full of unique things which you can buy for your home remembrance and also enjoy seeing their culture dances of Acholi people. If time allows, you can visit the caves ‘’Guru guru caves’’ which is said to have been used during the Lamogi rebellion. Dinner and Overnight stay

Day 10: Return back to Kampala

Return back to Kampala: Wake up have your morning breakfast on leisure. After you will check out of the lodge and drive back to Kampala or Entebbe Airport to catch up your flight.
