Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Transfer to Bwindi: Depending on your location in Kampala city, our guide or driver will pick you brief you about the 3 days safari and then start your journey to the south-western region of Uganda. On your way, you will have a stopover at the Uganda equator have a chance to take photos at the equator ,visit the souvenir shop where you can even buy craft materials to go back with .After, you will proceed to Mbarara to have lunch .After your lunch you will continue with the journey passing through the beautiful hills that will give you a beautiful rewarding scenery for photo shooting. You will arrive at the park in the late evening to enjoy dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma lodge or any other lodge in the Buhoma region/sector. Accommodation Options include Clouds Mount Gorilla Lodge, Buhoma Lodge, Gorilla safari lodge, Gorilla Forest Camp.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking

Gorilla Trekking: You will wake early in the morning, have breakfast and then our driver guide will pick you from your lodge with packed lunch and will drive you to the briefing centre before heading out for the incredible trek in the beautiful montane rain forest where you will be accompanied by the ranger and you’re free to ask him what question you want. But the trek might last a full day or half-day depending on the location of gorillas, as your trekking you will have a chance of spotting other species in the forest trails such as tree species, small primates like colobus monkeys, birds as you will be listening to their sweet melodies in the thick forest of the Bwindi. Gorilla trekking requires only 8 people per group per trek and children below 15 years old are not allowed. The trek might last 2 to 8 hours because gorilla trekking is unpredictable. But once gorillas are found trekkers will be given one hour to observe them as they play around, grooming, feeding their young ones, swinging on the tree branches as for you will be learning about their lifestyle as well as taking photos as many as you wish for your future remembrance.

Day 3: Return to Kampala

Return to Kampala: After early morning breakfast, you will check out from the lodge and drive back to Kampala. You will go through highly fertile and farmers living there will be giving you a warm welcoming wave, sightsee the long-horned cattle and banana plantations as you head to city of seven hills ‘’Kampala’’. you will be dropped off to hotel or to Entebbe Airport to couch up by your flight back home.
